I love your blog! I've been following you for a while but have just decided that I want to get serious about being fit and losing weight. I've been sick for the past week and haven't been able to exercise and I'm freaking out. I also sprained my ankle a few months ago, so I've been hesitant in overworking it. I was wondering if you had any advice for how to stay on track when you're sick, and how to get motivated to get back to your routine once you're healthy. Thanks! You're my inspiration!!

aw, there’s no need to freak out! when you’re sick, my advice to is to just take a whole lot of rest and not exercise. the sooner you’re better, the sooner you can get back to working out. all you can do is eat healthy, which is…fortunately, also a good thing to do cos you’re sick! eat a LOT more vegetables, fruits, and healthy carbs, because your body needs the vitamins and energy. don’t worry about calories, and focus on nutrition! once you’re healthy, i’m guessing you will feel at least a little motivated because a part of you will miss the gym. tell yourself that now you can go back to being active, and remind yourself that being active makes you feel good! remind yourself of your fitness goals and why you’re trying to get fit and lose weight. all you need is that ONE push to get on the treadmill or put on your running sneakers, and once you start doing just that one workout to get back on your routine, all you gotta do is keep going. don’t give up!! :D
